Weather is the state of the atmosphere with respect to wind, temperature, cloudiness, precipitation, humidity, pressure, etc. “www.dictionary.com”

The elements mentioned above are the six main components of weather.

Clouds, rain, snow, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. are types of weather phenomena.

Meteorology is the study of the atmosphere and it’s phenomena. To break this word down “ology” means the study of. The meteor portion refers to the Greek word “meteora” which means atmospheric phenomena and things in the sky and heavens.
